Food Safety - Level 1 - Catering
£15
Food Handlers and their employers have a legal duty to manage Food Safety. These obligations are set out by a number of EU and UK Laws. These Laws state that food handlers must make sure that food which is prepared, cooked, served or sold, is safe for human consumption. Failing to follow food safety standards can cause food to become contaminated with potentially fatal consequences.
To consider the correct level of training you require, imagine a restaurant. The serving staff would need level one, so they understand the need for food safety. The staff making the food need level two and the owner, manager and supervisors would need level three.
This Level 1 course is for staff working in a setting where food is being served to the end user, such as restaurants, school, nurseries, etc
