National Butchers’ Week

As members of the FSB, we really feel strongly that local businesses, like butchers, need to be supported by their locals.  So go on, pop into your local butcher and see what they’ve got for your dinner.  You’ll get good chat and some great cooking tips too, no doubt.

When it comes to cooking at home or in the fine dining restaurant, is there a difference in food safety standards?  There shouldn’t be!  Professionals cook for money, but more people cook for loved ones.  Can you honestly say your standards are at the level they should be at?  Can you name the high risk foods?  And the allergens?
